Brande spent the first 21 years of her career in software sales for Austin and San Francisco based tech companies. In 2020, while still working at a demanding full-time job, she took her entrepreneurial spirit in a new direction and bought her first residential property with plans to renovate and resell. Having always been fascinated by real estate, she knew she needed to start somewhere. That first project was trial by fire and more complex than imagined. Not only had COVID hit one month after she closed on the house, but there were underlying issues throughout the entire property. A global pandemic coupled with major project challenges did not dissuade Brande. She’s always chosen to see the silver linings in a challenging situation, so she confronted it all head-on and learned as much as she could in those six months. Brande eventually left the corporate world, and three years later has completed eight successful residential rehabs across Austin. Funny enough, she has found her niche to be in complex projects similar to that first one she ever took on.
